Content to ease anxiety

Content to ease anxiety

Content focused on students

Problem

This content flow is for students who are anxious about math and forced to take a knowledge check. These designs were part of a pilot project.

Solution

After testing a series of options, students preferred more copy than less. The content in the first screen image tested well and was seen as informative, but caring.

I used Ready to start to help students feel in control.

The content in the following screen image is meant to help explain they need to wait a bit and that it won’t take long for the results.

Problem

To make students more comfortable when we require personal information.

Solution

Any time we ask for personal information, we tell our users the reason. We’ve learned that students are reluctant to provide their phone number. This example includes why we’re asking for this personal information and how we’ll use it.
